preschool Workshops
The Preschool Teacher's Association sponsors three workshops each year held at Schoolcraft Community College in Livonia:
Previous session topics have included language and literacy development, using technology in the classroom, social and emotional development through Conscious Discipline, science in the classroom. small group instruction, autism spectrum disorders, using puppets in the classroom, music and movement activities and many more.
"Chalk Talk" discussion subjects have included teacher contracts, student assessment, allergies in the classroom, licensing regulations, field trip ideas, and many more. This is a great time for teachers to pose questions to their fellow preschool teachers as we know we are our best source of ideas.
